The staff at Glade Community Church has spent many years commited to Christian service. Our staff enjoys serving our community, whether in sharing our faith or just lending a helping hand. Here are a few of Glade Community Church's staff members, starting with Gene Johnson:

Gene Johnson (Pastor) 
Pastor Gene is a graduate of the The Southern Baptist Seminary in Louisville, Ky. He has been in ministry for 31 years, following God's call through Youth ministry, Single Adult ministry, Associate Pastor, Senior Pastor to new church plant. He and his wife Peggie have been called from Nashville,TN to Wilmington, DE and now to Glade Springs.
Pastor Gene has a great heart for spiritual growth and missions. He has been on mission trips for the pasts 30 years in all parts of North America and to Moldova. He believes strongly in utilizing summer missionaries and semester missionaries to work with the churches he is involved in.
He has the gift of leadership and teaching. He has a heart for helping people grow spiritually.
