We hope that after you look through our website and attend our worship service you will consider becoming a more active part of our growing community of faith.

Lead by Pastor Gene Johnson, Glade Community Church offers many ministries for people of all ages and walks of life who are looking to strengthen their relationship with Christ.

Mission Statement

To turn unchurched people into fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ, equipping them to become a community of believers who are growing relationally with each other and God; ultimately reaching their full potential in Him.

Who We Are

We are seeking to become a multi-denominational church, a "Community Church" bringing common-unity and seeking to meet the needs of all people, yet we are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention. We are not a charismatic church nor are we a fundamental church, we are a blended church, preaching the Word of God and seeking to grow in our relationship with Him! We are a gathering of Christians located in The Resort At Glade Springs, in Daniels, WV. We hope that you will stop by and worship with us if you are in the area. This site is designed to give you information about our church, our members and our staff as well as provide you with information on how to contact us.

We want to meet you where you are and hopefully help you grow in a meaningful relationship with God, through Jesus. We are people who struggle and hurt as we face the daily pressures of life. We are also people who are experiencing the life and joy of Jesus Christ in our daily lives. We would like nothing more than to have you join us as we seek, learn, and grow together in our spiritual walks with God. Whether you're seeking God, curious about our fellowship, or attend our house church regularly, there's something for you here. Our church exists to minister to the real needs of people with the authentic love of Jesus Christ! We invite you to experience the genuine worship, encouraging messages, friendly people and enjoyable atmosphere that are a part of our community. We hope you will come to worship study and celebrate with us often. And, if you do not have a church home, we would be honored to have you consider becoming a part of our fellowship.

We are sponsored as a church plant through Northgate Baptist Church in Beckley, WV. Pastor Craig Stevens is our sponsoring pastor and supporter. We are affiliated with the West Virginia Convention of Southern Baptists and the Southern Baptist Convention.
